Good Work Party

The first Good Work Party visited France and Switzerland in June 1956. This annual event was arranged to reward Partners across the business who had performed their role for many years, doing a good job, but who would otherwise have received little recognition.

Nominated by their Head of Branch those Partners fortunate enough to be selected received a letter from the Chairman inviting them to take a holiday, at the Partnership’s expense, as part of a group led by senior managers.

Travelling to locations across Europe, this event was organised annually and visited locations including Zurich and Vienna (1963) and Italy (1976).
