Partnership Revue

First performed in 1929, the Revue was the Partnership’s way of looking at the business in a humorous way. Comprising songs and sketches written by Partners and performed each year the event was a highlight in the social diary. Bernard Miller, Mrs Lewis and other senior Partners performed along side Partners from across the business.

After a gap during the war years the Revue was presented again in 1947 and continued until the 1960s when falling ticket sales forced the show to become a Music Hall event.

Resurrected for 2000, the final Revue “Never Knowingly Understood” showcased contemporary talent and delivered a Revue style history of the Partnership, ably supported by the Dramatic and Music Societies.
