The Jubilee Arbour was erected in the year 2000 to commemorate the Second Trust Settlement in which Spedan signed the documents to hand over all the assets of the Partnership to those who worked in it.
He had started the ball rolling in 1929 through the First Trust Settlement by which he signed over all the profits to the Partners but kept control of the business.
